Preferred Qualifications:
- Hold an active Georgia Educational Interpreter/GaPSC Certification
- Possess a valid RID Certification or an EIPA score of at least 3.5
- Previous experience in school-based interpreting, particularly at the high school level
- Demonstrated ability to work one-on-one with students
- Strong, reliable communication skills and a commitment to student access
- Full-time availability for the duration of the contract
- Dependable transportation for daily on-site presence
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct sign language interpretation for one high school student during all instructional and school-related activities
- Ensure clear, accurate communication between student, staff, and peers
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school and state guidelines for interpreters
- Collaborate with educational staff to facilitate an inclusive learning environment
- Track and report on interpreting services as required
