Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Cleveland, Georgia

As a vital communication partner, you’ll work directly with one high school student, ensuring seamless understanding and participation in classroom activities. Qualifications:
- Georgia Educational Interpreter/GaPSC Certification is required
- Holder of RID Certification or EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
- Previous experience interpreting in a school-based setting is preferred
- Able to commit full-time, onsite, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week)
- Experience working one-on-one with students is an asset
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate, professional sign language interpretation for all classroom and school-related activities
- Support educational access by facilitating clear, effective communication between the student and staff
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times
- Work proactively with educators and support staff to adapt to the student’s needs
