Job Responsibilities
Provide accurate and professional American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation services for students in a junior high school setting
Collaborate with another ASL interpreter to ensure consistent, high-quality communication support
Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff
Support student learning, participation, and inclusion in classroom activities
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school district and professional standards

Team Structure: Work alongside another experienced ASL Interpreter

Required Qualifications
Valid Sign Language Interpreter certification (e.g., RID, NIC, or EIPA as applicable)
Previous school-based or educational interpreting experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of educational terminology and classroom dynamics
