Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and qualified Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) for a full-time opportunity with a school district in Woodland, California for the 2026-2027 school year.
Position Details
Location: Woodland, CA
Assignment Dates: August 12, 2026 – June 4, 2027
Schedule: 35 hours per week
Setting: Onsite
Caseload: K-12
Assignment: One-on-one support with a student at a single school site
Responsibilities
Provide interpreting services for a student in educational settings throughout the school day.
Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, staff, and peers.
Support the student's access to classroom instruction, school activities, and related services.
Collaborate with educators and special education teams to promote student success.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards.
Qualifications
Active California Sign Language Interpreter certification and/or licensure.
Experience working with school-aged students preferred.
EIPA score of 4.0 or higher preferred (3.5 or higher may be considered)
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Ability to work onsite for the duration of the assignment.
