Desired Qualifications:
- Current and valid Oregon Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) Certification/Licensure
- Demonstrable fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in educational settings
- Ability to adapt interpreting techniques to various age groups and classroom subjects
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Professionalism, reliability, and commitment to student confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into ASL (and vice versa) during all classroom activities and school-sponsored programs

- Uphold ethical standards and privacy requirements as established by the profession and the district
