Qualifications:
- 3.0 EIPA score or higher is required
- Prior completion of Florida school district fingerprinting preferred; status will be verified via the AHCA Clearinghouse
- Willingness to complete and obtain a JLA badge (processing up to 10 days after clearance)
- Strong signing skills; confident supporting DHH students 1:1 and in small groups
- Adaptable to elementary, middle, or high school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-time, up to 37.5 hours/week at a single school location
- Provide interpretation services for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students, both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with school staff to optimize student access and participation
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards of conduct
