- Experience working in special education (SPED) environments is highly valuable

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken and signed communication for students, teachers, and staff in classrooms, meetings, assemblies, and school events
- Support students’ understanding of lessons, assignments, and classroom discussions by providing accurate and impartial interpretation
- Partner with teachers to facilitate accessibility and inclusion for deaf or hard-of-hearing students
- Assist in adapting instructional materials as needed to meet students’ individual education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity in all school interactions
