Role Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into ASL and vice versa during classroom instruction, meetings, and school-related activities
- Assist in providing equal access to information and curriculum for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other education professionals to support student success
- Maintain appropriate boundaries, confidentiality, and professionalism in all assignments
- Adjust interpreting methods based on student needs, environments, and feedback
- Participate in trainings or consultations as needed for ongoing skill development
