Multiple full-time contract openings are available, all in a 1:1 capacity, allowing you to make a meaningful difference in individual students’ daily communication and learning experiences. With a variety of age groups needing your expertise, you’ll be paired according to your preferred age range for a truly tailored placement.
Desired experience and qualifications:
- Valid Sign Language Interpreter credentials
- EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
- Previous experience in a school environment strongly preferred
- Effective communication skills and ability to foster positive student relationships
- Adaptability working with students across diverse age ranges – preschool through high school
- Reliable, team-oriented, and passionate about empowering students through language access
Core responsibilities will include:
- Providing dedicated 1:1 interpreting services in classroom and school settings
- Accurately and effectively interpreting spoken language into sign language (and vice versa) for students
- Supporting academic engagement by facilitating communication between students, teachers, and staff
- Collaborating with educational teams to address students’ individual needs
- Upholding confidentiality and a professional standard of service
