Qualifications & Desired Experience:

- Strong understanding of Deaf culture and sensitivity to student needs.
- Ability to adapt interpretation style to match various ages and grade levels.
- Professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with educators and school personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate sign language interpretation for classroom instruction, school events, and extracurricular activities.
- Support Deaf or Hard of Hearing students with access to curriculum and communications.
- Facilitate clear and effective interactions between students, teachers, and staff.
- Uphold ethical standards, confidentiality, and respect for all participants.
- Engage in ongoing communication with the educational team to optimize student success.
- Maintain daily logs and other required documentation.
- Remain adaptable to changing schedules and student needs throughout the contract term.
