These roles will follow the academic calendar from August 10, 2026, to May 27, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 7.5 hours per day, totaling 37.5 hours per week. The caseload includes direct support on a 1:1 basis, allowing for a focused and supportive interaction with students. Candidates must hold valid licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter in the State of North Carolina and be available for onsite assignments.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active North Carolina interpreter licensure
- Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience providing interpreting services in a K-12 school setting is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to commit to a full academic year, working onsite each school day
Position Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality sign language interpretation for students to support learning and participation in the classroom.
