Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Raeford, North Carolina

Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold current licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter in North Carolina
- Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and able to facilitate clear, accurate interpretation
- Previous experience supporting student communication in school environments is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with students, teachers, and staff professionally
- Reliable and dedicated to onsite service for the academic year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing to ensure full access to the curriculum and school activities
- Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and peers in classroom and extracurricular settings
- Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all district, state, and federal requirements
- Collaborate with educational staff and participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning as needed
- Support students’ educational and social inclusion across all school experiences
