- Valid and current certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (such as EIPA, RID, or comparable credential).
- Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration between students, teachers, and families.

- Ability to adapt interpreting style to suit individual student needs, grade levels, and subject matter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into sign language and vice versa for students during classroom instruction, school events, and extracurricular activities.
- Support classroom engagement by promoting access to curriculum and schoolwide communication.
- Partner with educators and support staff to tailor interpreting strategies, ensuring comprehension and participation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized support plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely records as required by the school or district.
