Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (state and/or national)
- Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Prior interpreting experience in school settings preferred

- Ability to work independently yet collaboratively within a school team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily sign language interpretation for two students, each assignment lasting approximately 5.5 hours per student
- Facilitate clear, effective communication between students, teachers, and peers
- Adapt interpreting techniques to suit various educational activities and environments
- Document student progress and collaborate with staff on support strategies
