Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and interpreting within educational settings.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
- Open to candidates holding a provisional license if EIPA score is below 4.0.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and families.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to student confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver interpreting services for deaf and hard-of-hearing students in classroom and school activities.
- Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and peers to ensure equitable access to instruction and participation.
