Position Details:
-Position: School-Based ASL Interpreter
-Location: Lodi, CA
-Schedule: Monday-Friday | 32.5 hours a week
-Assignment: Current School Year
-Caseload: K-12 (assigned based on district needs)
-Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:
-Provide professional ASL interpretation for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students throughout the school day.
-Interpret classroom instruction, IEP meetings, assemblies, and school-related activities.
-Promote effective communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers.
-Collaborate with special education teams and school personnel to support student success.
-Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreting standards.
Qualifications:
EIPA score of 4.0 required
Previous school-based interpreting experience preferred
Knowledge of educational terminology and Deaf culture
Authorized to work in the US
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
