Your Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate, real-time interpretation for a deaf elementary school student during the instructional day (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday)
- Facilitate clear communication between the student, teachers, classmates, and other school staff
- Use age-appropriate language and cultural sensitivity in all interpreting situations
- Adapt interpreting techniques to classroom dynamics and individual student needs
- Support the student’s engagement and participation in classroom and school activities
