Qualifications & Desired Experience:

- Previous experience working as a Sign Language Interpreter in a school or educational setting preferred.
- Knowledge of interpreting ethics, educational terminology, and classroom environments.
- Appropriate state or national credentialing/certification for educational interpreters.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families in a professional and supportive manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interpreting services for students during classroom lessons, meetings, and school events.
- Facilitate effective communication between students, educators, and peers.
- Maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries at all times.
- Adapt signing strategy to individual student needs and classroom context.
- Collaborate with educational teams to promote student development and inclusion.
