Schedule:
35 hours per week
8:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and effective sign language interpretation throughout the school day.
- Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, staff, and peers.
- Support student participation in classroom instruction, discussions, assignments, and school-related activities.
- Help ensure equal access to educational opportunities while promoting student engagement and independence.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain professional standards, confidentiality, and district policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Sign Language Interpreter credentials and/or educational interpreter qualifications in accordance with state and district requirements.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
- Previous school-based experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for supporting student success.
