VocoVision is seeking an experienced Virtual Sign Language Interpreter to support K-12 students in a Georgia school district for the 2026-2027 school year. Minimum Qualifications
Active Georgia GAPSC Sign Language Interpreter Certification
EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
Prior virtual sign language interpreting experience in a K-12 school setting
Strong knowledge of educational terminology and IEP environments
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with school staff
Responsibilities
Provide real-time virtual interpreting services for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing during instructional and school-related activities.
Facilitate clear communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreting standards.
Collaborate with educational teams to support student success in the virtual learning environment.
