Remote Sign Language Interpreter in ID

This contract role offers the opportunity to provide full-time sign language interpretation services for a 4th-grade student via telehealth in an educational setting. The position is based in Rexburg, ID, and requires immediate availability through June 3rd.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver clear and accurate sign language interpretation services for a 4th-grade student during telehealth sessions.
- Facilitate effective communication between the student, educators, and support staff, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards in all interactions.
- Collaborate remotely with educational personnel to support the student’s learning needs.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies during sessions.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with experience interpreting for children in educational settings.
- Previous experience providing telehealth sign language interpreting services preferred.
- Strong understanding of educational terminology and 4th grade curriculum concepts.
- Ability to work full-time and commit immediately through June 3rd.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
