Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language with an ASLPI score of 4.1 or higher
- Previous experience working as a sign language interpreter in educational or related settings preferred

- Flexibility and adaptability to support a student's changing needs throughout the academic year
- Professional certification and compliance with applicable state and district guidelines
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 sign language interpretation for a student throughout the school day, ensuring clear and effective communication during classroom instruction, activities, and social interactions
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate inclusive educational access
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Accurately convey spoken information to the student and express the student’s communication to faculty and peers
- Assist in developing and implementing best practices for accessibility and engagement
