Pediatric Licensed Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Albany, New York

Key Qualifications:
- Valid license as a Sign Language Interpreter.
- Demonstrated experience working in a pediatric, 1:1 environment.
- An ASLPI (American Sign Language Proficiency Interview) score of 4.1 or higher is required.
- Previous experience in educational or school-based settings preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized, real-time interpretation for a pediatric student, fostering access to all classroom instruction and activities.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to ensure inclusive participation for the student across academic and social settings.
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Accurately interpret spoken dialogue, written material, and non-verbal cues to ensure seamless communication.
