Desired Qualifications:
- EIPA score of 4.0 or higher (required)
- Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Previous experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and cultural sensitivity
- Commitment to working exclusively in-person for the school year
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate and clear communication between the elementary student and others throughout the school day
- Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, and school activities to support the student’s educational and social inclusion
- Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to meet the individual needs of the student
- Maintain detailed records and provide insightful feedback on the student’s progress and engagement
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
