Sign Language Interpreter in Aurora, CO

Qualified candidates must possess an EIPA score of 3.5 or above and hold valid CDE Authorization, in accordance with statewide requirements for educational sign language interpreters. These credentials ensure you’re ready to facilitate clear, effective communication for students and educators alike.
Qualifications:
- EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (required)
- Current CDE Authorization for educational interpreting (required)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with both general and special education populations
- Comfortable working onsite and traveling between multiple school locations
- Skilled in American Sign Language and familiar with interpreting in educational environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide sign language interpretation for students in a variety of classroom settings, including general and special education
- Adapt communication styles to meet individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to support student success
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all school and district guidelines
- Travel between assigned school sites as an itinerant interpreter
