Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Bonita Springs, FL

Using your expertise, you will provide both one-on-one and possible small group interpreting for students, collaborating closely with educational teams to remove communication barriers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3.0 EIPA score or higher, as required
- Experience interpreting for DHH students in a school setting preferred
- Available for full-time hours (up to 37.5 per week)
- Able to work on-site at a single school location
- Comfortable working with students across all grades
- Compliance with Florida fingerprint requirements, AHCA Clearinghouse verification, and timely credentialing
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver American Sign Language interpretation for classroom instruction, events, and activities
- Facilitate communication between students, staff, and peers
- Promote self-advocacy and independence for DHH students
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to meet student needs
