Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into ASL and vice versa for students, staff, and faculty as needed during classes, meetings, and school events
- Collaborate with educators and school personnel to facilitate communication and promote student engagement
- Support classroom activities, adapting materials and instructions for deaf and hard-of-hearing students
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interpreting situations
- Assist in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and help develop strategies to enhance learning support for students who use ASL
- Act as a resource for promoting awareness of deaf culture and accessibility across the school community
