As an onsite Sign Language Interpreter, you will:
- Provide daily, in-person interpretation at the Head Start Center from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (30 hours per week).
- Work one-on-one, directly supporting a DHH student to ensure success and access to classroom learning.
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to foster an inclusive environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Educational Interpreter Permit.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of Human Trafficking and Child Abuse & Neglect Training.
- EITHER: Passage of the EIPA written test AND a score of 3.5+ on the EIPA skill test, OR proof of RID certification.
- Previous experience working in schools or with DHH students preferred.
