What We’re Looking For:
- Certification or licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter
- Experience with DHH (Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing) students preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively onsite
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic educational settings
Your Role Will Include:
- Providing one-on-one sign language interpretation for a DHH student
- Assisting the student during all classroom and school activities
- Collaborating with educators and staff to ensure seamless communication
- Maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism
- Working onsite at the Head Start center during the school day (8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, 30 hrs/week)
