Licensed 1:1 Sign Language Interpreter in Dayton, NV

Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter
- ASLPI (American Sign Language Proficiency Interview) score of 4.1 or above required
- Previous experience providing 1:1 interpreting services, ideally with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Strong understanding of educational environments and IEP processes
- Proficient in facilitating both verbal and non-verbal communication
- Comfortable working collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver clear, accurate ASL interpretation for an individual pediatric student throughout the school day
- Support access to classroom instruction, activities, and school events
- Assist in developing effective communication strategies tailored to the student’s needs
- Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold ethical standards at all times
