- Commitment to working with high school-age students in a supportive role
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, though not required
Responsibilities:
- Provide clear and accurate sign language interpretation for one high school student throughout the afternoon instructional period each day
- Collaborate closely with educators and school staff to ensure communication access and student engagement
- Adapt interpreting to a variety of classroom situations and content areas
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student participation
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
