Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum score of 75% on the EIPA written assessment and either an EIPA performance score of 4.0 or current NIC or RID certification.
- At least 2 years of recent experience as a sign language interpreter (preferred).
- Prior experience interpreting in 1:1 or small group educational settings.
- Familiarity with K-12 educational environments and individual student needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for clear, accurate interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one sign language interpretation for a student at the elementary or high school level.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and school staff to support instructional activities.
- Adapt interpreting style to meet individual student needs throughout the school year.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times.
