Key Qualifications:
- Completion of EIPA written with a minimum score of 75%, plus either a 4.0 EIPA score or an active NIC or RID credential
- Direct experience in 1:1 interpreting and/or working in small group educational settings
- At least two years of recent professional interpreting experience (preferred, but not required)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and engaging sign language interpretation for students within classroom and extracurricular settings
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support individualized education plans and ensure full access to curriculum
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that empowers students to actively participate in all aspects of school life
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism, adhering to the highest ethical standards for interpreters
