ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter to support one of our high school students who will be transferring into the district. This is a full-time contract opportunity for the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Details
- Position: Sign Language Interpreter
- Employer: ProCare Therapy
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: May 28, 2027
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5 days per week
- Hours: Full-time
- Pay: $34–$36 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities
The Sign Language Interpreter will provide communication support for a high school student throughout the school day. The interpreter will work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and other educational professionals to facilitate effective communication and support the student's access to instruction and the school environment.
Qualifications
- Qualified Sign Language Interpreter with EIPA of 3.5 or higher. Will also accept a state equivalent cert.
- Experience working with school-age students preferred.
- Ability to effectively interpret in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to supporting student success and accessibility.
