Key Qualifications:
- Possess a completed interpreter training program.
- Achieved a score of 3.5 or higher on the IEPA assessment.
- Hold all current licensure, certifications, and qualifications required for sign language interpreting in school settings.
- Experience with DHH populations or within educational environments is highly valued.
- Commitment to professional standards, confidentiality, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 sign language interpreting services for students as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with other DHH professionals and classroom support staff.
- Support students’ communication and engagement in both academic and social settings.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records as necessary.
- Foster an inclusive, accessible learning environment.
- Travel between designated school buildings, with assignments primarily centralized around Eugene.

- Contract runs from August 24, 2026, through June 15, 2027.
- One to two positions are available for immediate consideration.
- Full-time hours; consistent caseload within the same buildings (not a VOCO role).
