Desired Experience and Skills:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- At least a 3.5 EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score
- Prior experience as a sign language interpreter in educational environments
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm for working with young children, particularly in a one-on-one PreK setting
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and flexibility within a school team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated interpretation services for a PreK student during all classroom activities and transitions throughout the school day
