Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Previous experience working as a Sign Language Interpreter, especially in educational or pediatric settings
- Comfortable supporting individualized (1:1) student needs
- Knowledge of educational practices for students from Pre-K through Middle School (K–5)
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- A passion for fostering communication and inclusion in a classroom setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clear and accurate interpretation of classroom instruction, discussions, and school activities for assigned students
- Provide one-on-one interpretation to support a student’s access to curriculum and participation in school life
