ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a school-based contract position with a local school district near Newport, TN.
Special Education Teacher Position – 2026-2027 School Year
Position Details:
Start Date: August 1, 2026
End Date: May 22, 2027
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Hours: 7 hours per day
Onsite Position
Full-Time
Caseload: Grades 3-8
School Assignment: 1 School Site
Student Population:
The Special Education Teacher will provide services to students with a variety of learning and developmental needs, including:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Other Health Impairments (OHI)
Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD)
Additional mild to moderate disabilities
The district has opportunities supporting both inclusion and resource classroom settings.
Education & Certification Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or related field
Active Georgia Special Education Teaching Certification
Full-Time Positions: Georgia Comprehensive Special Education License (461) Required
