- Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a commitment to ethical interpreting standards
Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time ASL interpretation for students in classrooms and during school events
- Ensure clear, age-appropriate, and culturally competent communication between students, staff, and families
- Prepare for assignments by reviewing educational materials and lesson plans
- Adapt interpreting methods to suit different student needs and learning environments
- Respect confidentiality and uphold all professional standards in an educational setting
