Role Overview:
- Provide sign language interpretation for students and staff in mainstream and special education classrooms
- Foster clear and effective communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their peers, teachers, and school personnel
- Adapt interpretation style to suit a variety of school subjects, activities, and student needs
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times in accordance with school policies
- Support individual students or small groups during instructional and extracurricular settings
- Act as a linguistic and cultural mediator, helping bridge understanding and social interaction
Enjoy a fulfilling schedule from August 12, 2026, to May 26, 2027, working 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Those selected for this position will receive highly competitive compensation of $28 per hour, along with excellent ProCare benefits.
