Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Blaine, Washington

Key Qualifications:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience working as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational settings

- Understanding of the needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students

Role Responsibilities:
- Provide clear, accurate sign language interpretation for students and staff during classroom instruction and school activities
- Promote inclusive education by ensuring students' access to curricula, discussions, and campus events
- Work closely with teachers and related service providers to adapt communication for individual student needs
- Assist in developing and modifying instructional materials as needed
- Support students’ self-advocacy and communication skills
- Maintain up-to-date records and adhere to district policies and protocols
