Qualifications:
- Proficiency in sign language interpreting within educational settings
- EIPA score of 3.0 or higher required
- Applied for, or possession of, an active Professional Educator License (PEL) to interpret in schools
- Prior experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in a school or youth environment is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students and faculty alike
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries
Responsibilities:
- Interpret classroom lectures, discussions, and activities for one high school student
- Facilitate effective communication between the student, teachers, and peers
