Requirements:
- Valid Illinois Sign Language Interpreter license
- Experience interpreting in an educational setting preferred
- Familiarity with state or district-specific guidelines (including any additional credentials as requested by administration)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment for the duration: ASAP start through May 21, 2027, from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person interpretation for high school students during classroom and school activities
- Facilitate communication among students, teachers, and staff
- Adhere to confidentiality and professional standards
- Support an inclusive and accessible learning environment
- Collaborate with educators to ensure student needs are met
