What You’ll Bring:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Current certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (RID, EIPA, or comparable credential)
- Experience working with high school-aged students preferred

- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into ASL and vice versa during classroom lessons, meetings, and activities
- Partner closely with teachers, staff, and other service providers to support the student’s academic goals
- Ensure real-time, accurate, and contextually appropriate interpretation
- Assist with clarification and communication between the student, peers, and teachers
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to the student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals
- Adapt to varied learning environments and settings throughout the school day
