Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLI (Sign Language Interpreter) certification or license in California
- EIPA score of 4.0 or higher
- Previous experience working in schools, preferably K–12
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person, one-on-one sign language interpreting for a K–12 student within a single school site
- Facilitate clear communication between students, staff, and peers in classroom and school settings
- Adapt interpreting style and strategies to suit individual student needs and learning environments
- Collaborate with education teams to support successful learning outcomes throughout the academic year (August 12, 2026–June 4, 2027)
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times
