Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) | Full Time | 2026 to 2027 School Year

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to support a high school student for the 2026 to 2027 school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing communication access and support in an educational setting.

Position Details
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours per week
Virtual Option: Virtual candidates will be considered for 25 to 30 hours per week
Caseload: One student
Student: 15 year old entering 9th grade
Behavior: Well mannered with no behavioral concerns
Communication: Student is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)
Responsibilities
Provide sign language interpreting services throughout the school day.
Facilitate effective communication between the student, teachers, staff, and peers.
Collaborate with the educational team to support the student's academic success.
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with school and state guidelines.
Qualifications
EIPA score and/or state required interpreter credentials.
Previous school based experience is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
