ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Educational ASL Interpreter for a PreK student in Fort Wayne, IN. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to provide one-on-one communication support to a young student while working within a collaborative educational team.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time
6.5 Hours per Day
7:10 AM–2:10 PM
PreK Student
1:1 Assignment
Qualifications:
Minimum EIPA Score of 3.5 required
Previous school-based interpreting experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to provide effective ASL interpretation and communication support
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 ASL interpreting support to a PreK student
Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, staff, and peers
Support the student's access to classroom instruction and activities
Collaborate with educational staff to support the student's communication needs
Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment
Follow school and student-specific communication plans as appropriate
