Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- National or state certification in Sign Language Interpreting (i.e., EIPA, RID, or equivalent)
- Experience providing interpreting services in educational settings (preferred)
- Strong American Sign Language (ASL) proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to supporting accessibility and inclusion for all students
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communication between students, staff, and parents using ASL and spoken English
- Interpret classroom instruction, assemblies, meetings, and school events
- Collaborate with educators to foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment
