Soliant is seeking a skilled and dedicated Sign Language Interpreter to join our team. If you are
passionate about facilitating communication and making a difference in the lives of students with
hearing impairments, we encourage you to apply!
What We're Looking For:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- 3.5 EIPA
- Must be eligible for the GaPSC Educational Interpreter Certificate
- Experience working as a sign language interpreter in an educational setting preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in an elementary school setting preferred
What You'll Do:
- Provide sign language interpretation services for students in a school setting
- Assist in classroom instruction and activities by interpreting spoken language into sign
- language
- Support students in understanding and participating in classroom discussions and
- activities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective
- communication
- Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with hearing
- impairments
