Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter
- EIPA score of 3.5 or above
- Experience working in educational or adaptive classroom settings preferred
- Comfortable collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Professional, reliable, and sensitive to confidentiality guidelines
Your Responsibilities:
- Support a high school student who uses a wheelchair by facilitating clear, accurate communication in an adaptive classroom
- Deliver compensatory services tailored to the student’s individual learning plan
- Work closely with special education teachers, therapists, and school staff to promote the student’s participation and success
- Maintain professional interpretation standards at all times
- Adjust interpretation strategies to meet evolving classroom and student needs
- Ensure onsite presence, following parent request for in-person services
